Carmen Huerta
Founder & General Manager
Carmen Huerta, founder and director of TAC7, is an art historian and contemporary art expert. With 17 years of professional experience working with public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally, she has collaborated with classical and contemporary art entities.
She began her career at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, working alongside Paul Szwarbaum and Carmen Giménez, and continued her training in New York with a stay at MoMA.
Back in Madrid, she joined the Ivorypress team and, in 2009, joined the Museo del Prado, where she worked until the founding of TAC7 in 2022. Her passion for art and constant curiosity led her, in 2018, to launch The Art Chat, a pioneering platform that brings visibility to the creative process of artists through conversations in their studios.

Throughout her career, she has worked with some of the most important artists and curators, not only in Spain but internationally. All of this has made her a widely recognized figure in the sector.
Her commitment to staying at the forefront of the art world is embodied in a cross-disciplinary approach that allows her to be both reflective and dynamic, adapting to her audience and participating in cultural projects that integrate art, heritage, and innovation.
